EMB-13 Celebrates World Environment Day 2007!
June 5, 2007 -- The Environmental Management Bureau-Caraga Region, in coordination with its mother agency, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources-Caraga celebrates the annual environmental event that gives focus on the protection and conservation of the environment. A mass was sponsored by the DENR-EMB at the St. Joseph Cathedral at 7:00 A.M., followed by a motorcade around the city. Several national and local agencies joined the activity. The mass and motorcade kicked off the month-long celebration of Environment Month, which includes activities like tree-planting, info campaigns, training/seminar on waste management.
