Mt. Mayapay under the cloudy skies

While looking outside from the balcony of the third floor of our office building, I got a glimpse of Mt. Mayapay under a cloudy sky.
The 700-meter mountain plateau is a landmark of Butuan City, unique for its lopped off top. Accordingly, the mountain got its name from the Madjapahit Empire which counted around the 10th or 11th Century.
*****The picture was taken on January 12, 2007.
